The Process

Consultation / Quotation

A complementary, no obligation meeting is arranged between the developer and an Total home control project manager. At this meeting, the developer's objectives and requirements are discussed in detail to identify which of our products and services are required.

The project manager will then provide the developer with a customised proposal which outlines and recommends a solution that is designed for a development and each type of property on that development, including a quotation and a detailed breakdown of product and service requirements.

Specification
The developer typically has 2 options of service:

Use our own complete design, supply and installation service, this covers all aspects of the installation, the benefits of this are that we offer a one stop solution, a well managed team to liaise with builders, contractors and end users.
We work in conjunction with your design team, client, project managers and M&E contractors, we will then install and commission the system only, the huge benefit on this is cost, why have two people doing the same run of cables, we can advise and work with you contractors to advise them of the process and oversee it's progress, we then simply take over and deal with the clever part allowing you to save considerable costs on installation and time.

First Fix

Once the system's design and installation schematics have been approved, we move to the projects first fix stage, home automation should always be considered throughout the build phase as part of the electrical package, we liaise with the M&E contractor and offer support, and on going technical advise.

Second Fix

The second phase involves us installing the master control electronics, keypads and ceiling speakers, and preparing the system to be handed over to the end user.

Commissioning and Marketing

Once the system is fully commissioned we help the developer with any sales, marketing or technical advise that may be required to promote the benefits and workings of the system.

Technical Support

Our on going technical support allows the developer to install and sell the product with complete piece of mind that our team are committed to undertake all technical and sales queries during and after the sale of the property.

Electricians

Total Home Control work with a number of electrician and M&E contractors across the UK providing technical assistance and supply of the latest product ranges.

Step 1.

You have been asked to provide an audio, video or lighting solution by a builder/developer or home owner. You simply pass the details to one of our sales team who can advise the best possible solutions and product ranges. We can also arrange site visits to discuss with the client direct.

Step 2.

The client has decided on the system to be installed, we provide wiring diagrams and liaise with yourselves on the product being fitted.

Step 3.

You will install the specified cabling along with all other wiring during the first fix stage, we will supervise and oversee that all the cabling is installed correctly and provide either telephone support or even site visit to help you along.

Step 4.

We can now either supply you with the remaining product and help you install the units yourself or one of our installers can complete the installation, commissioning and sign off, of the project.

Step 5.

We then continue to provide after sales technical assistance, meaning you don't get bogged down with technical queries or problems.
